Clos Larrouyat

Météore 2020

Jurançon sec AOC

France - Sud-Ouest

Those who like acidity and tension will find it in the wines of Maxime (oenologist with a degree from Bordeaux) and Lucie Salharang (engineer in mechanical design), but also something to talk about with the sharp precision of the small and large mansengs of the Béarn region in altitude. Beyond the first consistency, one must go far to find the depth, without forgetting that beyond the flesh, there is first of all the spirit.
The spirit of Larrouyat is that of a place, a vineyard of barely 3 hectares, those of the grandfather, planted from 2011 with Petit Manseng, in Gan, on a soil of marl on Trias, exposed to the east, deprived of the setting sun which makes the degree.
The Clos Larrouyat thus has the unique privilege of being the sole master of a terroir where the grapes struggle to reach 13° and of producing the most easily digestible wines of the appellation.

Pleasant and well constructed on the edge of acidity.
