Olivier Jullien says:
"Fruit, intensity, immediate access but not only! Despite its great fluidity, the wine is long, the flavours subtle and deep. Strength and freshness, all in relief."

Le Trescol 2020
Aveyron IGP
France - Sud-ouest
The new nugget resulting from the association between Olivier Jullien (Mas Jullien in Jonquières, 34) and Didier Michel under the name of Pressoir Ambulant, a magnificent project:
This cuvée is the result of the alchemy between a love affair with the Aveyron, a long friendship between Olivier Jullien and Didier Michel (today with his son Olivier Michel taking over), meetings with the winegrowers of the valley, a village Compeyre and its unique cellars, a river The Tarn and a place "Trescol" (in Occitan "the pass that crosses").
The vines are planted at an altitude of 400 metres on the steep terraces of the Aveyron, not far from Marcillac and the old vineyards of Rodez. The vines are about 35 years old and are grown on acidic limestone soils, which benefit from an exceptional microclimate, with good sunshine, humidity from the nearby river and a wide temperature range between day and night.
To create his label, Olivier called on a photographer friend. The two of them went to the heart of the vineyard and Olivier drew furrows with a stick to represent the work of the land and wrote the name of his cuvée "Le Trescol". The photograph taken will then be coloured by his friend.

Tasting notes:
This wine has a bright ruby colour with purplish tints and an attractive sheen. The nose shows a beautiful concentration of crisp red berries accompanied by floral and slightly spicy notes. The palate is very vibrant with a sapid half-body. The rich tannins define a supple and greedy wine. A most exciting vintage combining character and elegance!
