LBV port has become one of the most popular styles of port. It offers almost vintage quality at the price of good ruby. Produced in a style and quality similar to vintage port, it will age well for at least 5 years and preferably 10 to 15 years in bottle.

Grape varieties:

Touriga nacional, touriga franca, tempranillo (tinta roriz).

Tasting Notes:

This LBV Port has a deep ruby ​​color with a purple tinge. On the nose, a seductive combination of blackberries and wild flowers, with a background of wild plants. Rich and complex on the palate, with fresh flavors of mint chocolate and cherry liqueur, it finishes with excellent structure due to firm tannins and well-defined acidity.

Wine style:

Natural sweet wine.

Food and wine :

Semi-cooked foie gras, cherry chutney on a thyme brioche. Venison steak with cocoa and roasted porcini mushrooms.
