Tasting Notes:

An intense purple in the glass, followed by a symphony of aromas mingling spices, fur, nutmeg. But it is in the mouth that the explosion of sensations takes place: complex and dense tannins, quality of the retro-olfaction. Its incomparable length on the palate makes this wine a success worthy of Amédée VII Comte de Savoie, known as the Red Count, who had vines on these Savoyard slopes of Arbin.

Food and wine :

Pigeon in salmi and variation around the apple of Artois. Veal chop with cranberries and pan-fried chanterelles.
