In the western part of the Isle of Arran is a peat field called Machrie Moor. It was here that, according to legend, the giant Fingal tied his favourite dog, Bran, to a raised stone.
This 20ppm bourbon cask-aged version of the Arran single malt, bottled at 46%, is a tribute to the wild but harmonious beauty of the Isle of Arran.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Diffuse smoke, mango, papaya, hints of vanilla.
Palate: Lemon zest, honey, coconut, sweet spices.
Finish: Peaty and fresh.
