Gloria de Nusserhoff
Adventure on other horizons grape variety Lagrein

In recent years there has been a considerable increase in the supply of foreign wines on the French market.

During a selection tasting with importers, I was intrigued by an original label, in a very strong style, of a wine that seemed to come from Italy or Austria, Gloria de Nusserhoff.

The wine reveals aromas of black fruit, plum, slightly evolved notes, balsam and smoky.
In the palate, candied fruit, cinnamon and spice. Tannins are velvety with a certain density. It leaves an impression of harmony, race and elegance, the finish is smoky and fruity.

High-level wine, it's delicious and successful.

The price, however, is not very accessible but is justified by the careful work of the winemaker Heinrich Mayer. Südtirol. L2011 Cépage Lagrein

Nice surprise!
