Background & History
Nestled in Espira de l’Agly, stretching along the Agly Valley as far as Maury, the estate covers approximately 6 hectares (with up to 25 hectares including leased land).
Taken over in 2008 by Laurent Pratx (following his experiences in the Rhône Valley), supported by Cylia, it symbolises a true return to its roots.
The estate is managed using sustainable farming practices, with low yields, hand-harvesting, and grapes picked at full ripeness.
Terroir & Grape Varieties
Characteristic soils :
black schist, clayey and stony, providing good drainage and pronounced aromatic expression.
Grape varieties grown :
Grenache Noir, Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Macabeu and Muscat d’Alexandrie.
A dry, elegant Muscat with aromas of citrus and white flowers, offering a fresh, lively palate that fully expresses the character of the Catalan terroir.
Aromas of black cherry, cocoa, violet Ample but fresh. Delicate final.
