Movia, cuvée GredicAgricoltori, Artigiani, e Artisti" is the motto of the Triple A movement, summarizing its identity and values.

Designed in 2001 by Luca Gargano – a great collector, rum specialist and CEO of Velier, a leading Italian wine and liquor import company.

This manifesto was born from the fact that a large majority of the wines produced in the world were standardized, produced with more and more technologies and less and less identity, expression of their terroir or the personality of the winemaker. Wines that he considers flat and lacking complexity, ability to improve over time.. Wines missing soul in short.

Luca Gagano's manifesto sets out three great qualities for winemakers to produce great wines in three "A" wines: Farmers, Craftsmen and Artists.

Farmers: in order to produce good wine, most of the work is done on the vine, which must be cultivated directly by the producer and only with natural intervention.

Craftsmen: the production must be carried out by handicrafts, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, not to be industrialised.

Artists: the winemaker can transmit his sensitivity in his wine, highlighting his terroir and grapes.

In concrete terms, what rules should be followed to comply with this manifesto?

  • Manual mass selections
  • No synthetic products used in vines (as for organic)
  • Respect for the natural cycles of the vine
  • Harvest of healthy grapes with perfect physiological maturity
  • No additives during vinifications
  • Minimum use of sulphur, only permitted for bottling and in small quantities
  • Use of native yeasts only
  • No physical or chemical interventions (of the chaptalization type, reverse osmosis...) on wine other than a simple temperature control
  • Fine lees until bottling
  • No bonding or filtration
  • Give the best possible expression of the given terroir

In short, it can be said that it is a philosophy of production of natural wine in the original sense: with very little or no added sulphur and produced in a "natural" way overall, i.e. without adding any synthetic product to the vines and cellars, nor special oenological technique.

Wines that do not care about the transitory modes, but remain faithful to themselves, thus escaping completely the standardization of taste.
