Splendour of Unknown wines

During the wine fairs of the large distribution areas, the abundance of small prices and the prestige of some labels deprives the amateur of curiosities. So in our selection no "exceptional" products, just a desire to share some careful winemaker names from their terroir, with a real know-how. They produce wines of gourmet traditions to enjoy. For a thought-provoking consumption Domaine des Soulié,runs a family farm located in Assignan in the Saint-Chinian appellation, at an altitude of 250 meters on clay-calcareous soils. The 27 hectares of vines have been in organic farming since 1960, respecting nature and the environment (ECOCERT).
This makes Domaine des Soulié one of the precursors in this region in terms of organic farming!

Philippe Gros installed in Soubès at the foot of the Pas de L'escalette, (known for his radar), on the appellation Terrasses du Larzac. Croquignol du mas Fabregous it is the wine star of the estate, all in freshness, on the crunch of the fruit. A southern wine that "pinotes".

At the edge of the thau basin close to the Mediterranean Sea, on the commune of Mèze, the vineyard of the Domaine Les yes extends over more than 70 hectares. It is a semi-calcareous terroir that enjoys maritime influence. This original situation favours the acclimatization of very varied grape varieties: Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Vermentino, Terret, Muscat, Syrah, Merlot... From these vines cultivated in the greatest respect of the terroir, the Dardé brothers draw remarkable cuvées.

The field of Source is located 10 kilometres west of Béziers, on the town of Capestang. It has existed since the 15th century and belongs to the Robert family since 1954.

It is currently the third generation that manages it. The variety of grape varieties and the multitude of terroirs through the soil and the exhibition make it possible to offer a wide range of products; from frank and easy grape wines to more unusual blends. Jérôme and Raymond Estève at Château Montfin in Peyrac-sur-mer at the edge of the pond on Château Montfin is at the foot of the Corbières Maritimes. The modernized cellar and a careful work in the vineyard have borne fruit, controlled and harmonious cuvées.
