I'm always surprised when a customer in the wine cellar indicates not to enjoy a Bordeaux wine.

This Sunday we went out of the reserve for lunch a wine of Saint-Estèphe the castle Lilian Ladouys, cru Bourgeois in a small vintage, on 2012.

The color of her dress is still purple, for this year's wine it was astounding!
Aromas of violet and blackcurrant while delicate.
A fruity attack then hollow ending with a vanilla note but no dry tannins. Short enough in the mouth.

Funny print, it looks surprisingly like a wine from our home but more velvety and not at all spicy, and by its maturity close to certain wines from Argentina.

It was really pleasant and it was perfectly tuned with the almost tomato calf.

I will, as often, have to explain to my clientele to the « Southern » taste that there are wonderful Bordeauxs.
