More than ever in the air of time, rum seduces.

For the Ti punch, I often propose the white rum of Martinique La Favorite Rivière Bel Air, which comes from a single plot, and whose unique texture will surprise more than one connoisseur.

I particularly appreciate the Navy Rum, a brown rum that reveals subtle aromas of exotic fruits, orange bark and vanilla.

 

But my preference of the moment goes to Habitation Saint Etienne (HSE), an old distillery of Martinique that produces an extra-old agricultural rum (6 years).

A symphony, salted butter and toffee, complex and rich aromas, spices, old leather, woody notes, tobacco on the finish.
