A high-end whiskey (without age indication). In technical quality and at this price, it is a must for peat lovers. When you drink it, you will immediately think of an Islay whiskey, but with much more finesse.

Longrow is Springbank's peat whiskey.
Located at the tip of Campbeltown, the distillery had set itself the task of producing a peat "like on Islay". And the least we can say is that it is stunning. Between the fruity and finesse of Campbeltown and the more pronounced and marine character of Islay, an astonishing whiskey.

On the nose one is not surprised at first a peat resembling smoke caught in spray on the coast. Next comes a note of lime and fresh fruit that perfectly balance the whole. The peat then becomes more ashy and we perceive some malt notes.
On the palate, the spray takes on confidence combined with notes of citrus zest. The fruits then turn exotic, like mango, just before the iodine, spray and smoke spice it up. The peat then becomes more earthy, accompanied by notes of tobacco.
The finish is long, mineral, on spray and lemons.
