Between Country Music and Bourbon

I listened to the excellent show Very Good Trip, on the radio France Inter by Michka Assayas with an American composer-songwriter Jason Molina, describing the life of deep America through his songs.

I have always dreamed of taking the road from North Carolina to Tennessee and then Kentucky, towards the distilleries by crossing the Appalachians near the Cherokees Indian Reserve.

The road in the United States is a real adventure!

Along the journey listen to Country music, stop enjoying a grill with a pepper sauce with vinegar, and discover a simple and relaxed cuisine.

And in the evening came to yield to the temptation of a glass of Bourbon, the Special Reserve of Blanton's recognizable by its cap adorned with a pure blood.
Unctuous and fleshy with notes of caramel, salted butter and vanilla.
