Domaine du Val Lamartinien: the essence of Mâconnais wines

Introduction to Domaine du Val Lamartinien

Domaine du Val Lamartinien, run by Alain Triboulet, is a family-run estate situated in Prissé, in the heart of the Mâconnais region of Burgundy. Building on a long tradition of winemaking, it produces wines that are true to the terroir, combining authenticity and quality.

The estate’s name pays tribute to the poet Alphonse de Lamartine, a native of the region and a symbol of the link between Burgundian culture and viticulture.

History and family identity

Passed down from generation to generation, the estate is now in the hands of Alain Triboulet. This continuity ensures traditional expertise, respect for the soil and meticulous attention at every stage of winemaking. Sustainable practices and meticulous work in the vineyard enable the production of exceptional Burgundy wines, true to the Mâconnais region.

The vineyard and grape varieties

The vineyard is situated on clay-limestone soils, typical of the region, which lend the wines freshness, minerality and elegance.

The estate mainly produces:

White wines: Saint-Véran, Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Blanc (Chardonnay)
Red wines: Bourgogne Rouge and Mâcon, made from Pinot Noir
Crémant de Bourgogne for lovers of fine, elegant bubbles

The white wines are characterised by their aromas of white fruit, flowers and subtle notes of almond or hazelnut. The reds offer notes of red fruit and a supple yet refined structure.

Terroir and winemaking

The estate favours a traditional and sustainable approach to winemaking:
Pneumatic pressing
Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats
Careful monitoring of the ageing process to preserve freshness and aromas

This method produces wines that are typical of the Mâconnais region: balanced and expressive.

Wine Style and Tasting Notes

Whites: elegant, fresh and mineral, with aromas of apple, pear and white flowers. Reds: fruity and supple, perfect for drinking young or after a little ageing. The wines are ideal with fish, seafood, poultry, light dishes and regional cheeses.

Food and wine pairings

Domaine du Val Lamartinien offers versatile wines:

Saint-Véran and Mâcon-Villages with grilled fish or shellfish
Red wines with white meats, poultry and mild cheeses
Crémant de Bourgogne as an aperitif or with light desserts

The Domaine du Val Lamartinien embodies the authenticity of Mâconnais wines. Under the leadership of Alain Triboulet, it combines tradition, terroir and quality, offering fresh, elegant white and red wines that are representative of Burgundy’s wine-growing heritage.
