Mas Champart (white)

An investment in a domain being refused by the banker, Champart you start in 1976 gradually buying old vines abandoned.
After a restoration of the vineyard and the replanting of some parcels, the grapes will be brought to the cooperative cellar until 1988, the year of the vinification of their first vintage in a cellar close to the estate.

Geographical situation and soils
16 ha of vineyards south St Chinian at 210m and 280m above sea level.

The vines also have steep hillsides on clay-limestone soils, calcareous plateaus with light, filtering soils and sloping, fine-grained, Triassic sandstone cliffs.

     Grapes:
Roussanne, marsanne, bourboulenc

      Tasting:
A round white wine in the mouth with a good material.
Golden and shiny color. Original nose of plum fennel and turmeric. Palate with notes of almonds. Velvety finish
