Jeff Carrel The Mamettes

Jeff Carrel

Les Mamettes are these grandmothers with tanned complexions and arched backs who tell us the story of this Catalan country. It is also these gnarled trunks of the Grenache Gris and Carignan Blanc vines which for decades produced VDN and Rancio Sec. These very old vines are now giving us their fruit to produce the new great dry white wines of Roussillon.
