The Gilvesy Estate, founded in 2012 by Robert Gilvesy, is situated on the volcanic slopes of Mount Szent György-hegy, in the Badacsony region, on the shores of Lake Balaton in Hungary. The estate comprises around 15 hectares of vineyards, which have been cultivated organically since 2014. It favours a minimal-intervention winemaking approach in order to preserve the expression of the volcanic terroir. Its main grape varieties are Riesling, Furmint and Olaszrizling, which produce fresh, elegant white wines with lovely minerality and a distinctive character. Gilvesy is thus an estate that combines Hungarian tradition, respect for nature and an authentic expression of the terroir.
