Hongrie - Badacsony
This estate is located in a beautiful region, in western Hungary, in Badacsony, north of Lake Balaton. The project is led by two winemakers: Gilvesy Róbert, who grew up on a Canadian farm where he acquired his love for the land, and Márton Ruppert, who grew up in the Badacsony region. They offer us exciting whites from Hungary that will surprise you with their incredible freshness. This wine comes from the Váradi vineyard on Szent György-hegy, an extinct volcano, north of Lake Balaton.
The fürmint was spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts, then matured on fine lees for 9 months (stainless steel uves and finished in 500 liter Hungarian oak barrels).
