The rancho El Bajío is located in the municipality of Jesus María, about 7 km east of the town of the same name. It rises to 2,170 meters above sea level, with a slight north-south slope. The name refers to this area located below the valley. The agave harvested for this production was planted in 2012 and 2013 when the plants were 1 year old. The agave was therefore between 6 and 7 years old at the time of harvest, for an average weight of 20 kilos and contained around 27% sugar.
