Aberlour A'Bunadh is a blend of 8 to 15 year old whiskies aged exclusively in Oloroso casks.

Batch 1 of the A'bunadh version, which means 'origin' in Gaelic, was released in 1998. Since then, the recipe that made this Aberlour so successful has remained unchanged.
It is aged in first-fill oloroso sherry casks, filtered in the traditional way, very lightly like those used in the 19th century, and above all bottled at a natural degree of around or above 60%. The casks used in the blend are between 5 and 25 years old.
