Louro is the little brother of the famous "As Sortes" from the Rafael Palacios estate in A Rua en Ourense. Thus, it is made from grapes from old vines of 40 years of age, cultivated in Val do Bibei at an altitude of nearly 700 meters, according to ecological principles and with traditional agricultural techniques that allow the conservation of old vines and thus avoid the use of herbicides. The grapes were harvested by hand and their musts were fermented in 3000-liter oak barrels, then the wine was aged on fine lees for four months.

Tasting Notes:

This wine combines strength and balance, showing itself to be noble and concentrated, but without excess. Expressive and aromatic from an early age. However, its character is intensely varietal, with white fruits, citrus fruits and minerality marked by the terroir. Rich in the mouth, this Louro has a charming roundness. It is a clean and precise wine. The minerality is so obvious. A deep wine, of immediate pleasure which is no less qualitative.

Pot of rock fish in casserole dish. Just seared langoustines, pan-fried green asparagus, virgin citrus hazelnut sauce.
