Located in the town of Wawern, this south-facing "Goldberg" plot benefits from optimal sunshine and an irrigation system allowing the vines not to suffer from water stress in this region with a more continental climate. Here everything is done to retain only one grape at optimum maturity: manual harvesting sometimes requires up to 4 or even five passages! Then comes the time for a completely natural fermentation in oak barrels of several wines, followed by an aging of 6 months, just enough to reveal the impeccable structure of the wine.

Tasting Notes:

The salty minerality is elegantly mixed with a lively scent of white pepper. After a few minutes in a tall glass, the smoky and verdant wine gives off a delicate scent of ripe apricots, plums and juicy vineyard peaches.
This great wine has long, tangible echoes, a seductive, playful fragrance and a soft, silky texture.
This is obviously a great wine for aging and gastronomy. A very large Riesling, from a very large terroir!

Wine style:

Mineral and complex dry white wine.

Food and wine :

Creamy yellow chicken risotto with aged Parmesan. Sea bream tartare from the Thau Basin, mango and pink berries.
