L'Anqueven
Le Souffle des Anges 2019
Vin de France
Languedoc
Small domain of 7 hectares in Languedoc, in Adissan, near Pézenas. Frédéric Fages produces a single red wine, a rosé and 2 Cartagens there. The wines are produced as naturally as possible with very little sulphites, with native yeasts and without wood. An originality comes from the presence of the atypical Petit-Verdot grape, blended with southern grape varieties (Syrah, Grenache Noir and Carignan). The Anqueven estate is part of an organic farming approach (conversion).
Grape varieties:
30% Syrah, 30% Petit Verdot, 20% Grenache Noir and 20% Carignan.
Tasting Notes:
The color is red, frank, with ruby reflections. The nose is very intense, fruity, with a spicy, slightly peppery side. This Blended scotch whiskey, produced by the "Islay Boys" has benefited from a finish in barrels that previously contained rum. What offer him a certain gluttony.
This gin, resulting from the distillation of wine, bears its name well: the scents of Languedoc garrigue are intense.
A volcano wine with an intense red color. Expressive nose dominated by red fruits and pretty peppery notes. Gourmet and light palate.
