Mataro is a cuvée that reflects Mas des Brousses' attachment to Mourvèdre. Mourvèdre is present in 70% of the blend, complemented by Syrah and Grenache. After 18 months of ageing, it can be enjoyed in its third year, but its aromatic richness and elegant tannins will reveal themselves over a period of fifteen years.
Grape varieties :
70% mourvèdre, 15% syrah and 15% grenache noir.
Aged in 400 litre barrels for 15 months.
