The Domaine des Amadieu is located in Cairanne in the Rhône Valley and is close to the renowned Domaines Les Goubert, Cayron and Moulin de la Gardette. The current owners are Corine and Yves Jean Houser who bought the property in 2007 for which they have undertaken organic (AB certification in 2013) and biodynamic (Demeter) conversion.
The property extends over 7 hectares of vines under the Côtes-du-Rhône Village appellation. The 5 wines of Domaine des Amadieu come from the typical grape varieties of the region, namely Grenache Noir, Carignan, Grenache Blanc, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier and Cinsault.
Yves Houser, passionate owner, pampers each of his plots and produces the most Mediterranean wines of the Rhône from old vines. We have selected for you its spearhead cuvée, the Cairanne Vieilles Vignes, whose richness and intensity of expression we know. Its tasting is the promise of a unique encounter with the Cairanne terroir, the most velvety, fresh and deep of the Côtes du Rhône.
There is no doubt that the Domaine des Amadieu will fill you with pleasure.
With its notes of cocoa powder, black fruits and spices, a nice touch of violet, it is a real treat!
