Côtes d'Auvergne AOP

Vallée de la Loire - Auvergne

Curiously linked to the vineyards of the Loire Valley, the Côtes d´auvergne PDO is moving upmarket in the wake of passionate winegrowers who work this volcanic soil.

Laure Cartier, eco-advisor by profession, and Jean-Baptiste Deroche, oenologist, took over in 2012 the domain of Odette and Gilles Miolanne: 8 ha at the foot of the Sancy massif, spread over volcanic soils (pumice stones) and clay -calcars. Organic conversion has been initiated, and certification obtained in 2016. In the sights, biodynamics.
