Tasting notes:
Bellevoye Noir Édition Tourbée reveals an intensely smoky nose with hints of ash, coffee and sweet spices,
a full-bodied, smooth palate characterised by elegant peat and a subtle saltiness, followed by a long, lingering finish,
carried by spicy notes with a hint of liquorice.
Food and wine pairings:
Wood-fired grilled duck breast, glazed with honey and black pepper, served with smoked celery purée and
a reduced coffee-cocoa jus, echoing the peaty, roasted and spicy notes of Bellevoye Noir Édition Tourbée.
Presentation:
Bellevoye, a French whisky, blended in Charente, the home of Cognac
The production of French whisky has only developed very recently.
Bellevoye Whisky is France’s first triple malt.
It is a blend of Charente whisky with two other single malts distilled in the north.
Four cask-finished versions are available. Characterised by their smoothness, richness and strong character.
A good whisky is quite simply one that you enjoy, so why not give it a try?
