Elisa Mazzavillani makes wine with her mother Marta, in Castrocaro Terme, in Emilia-Romagna, near Forlì-Cesena. The vineyards are located at 250-350 metres above sea level on the Bagnolo hill on both sides: the soil is blue clay on the north side and fine yellow sand and gypsum on the south side.
Elisa is a dynamic young woman at the head of this small certified organic estate. Her environment is full of flowers, bees and butterflies, which contributes greatly to her commitment to respecting this place while producing wines that are both delicate and punchy.
