The vineyard of the Domaine de Figuières extends over 70 hectares at the top of La Clape at an altitude of 150 m behind a rocky ridge facing the Mediterranean.

Intense garnet color with dark ruby reflections. Elegant, the nose is impressive in fidelity to the dominant grape variety. The notes of pepper and violet delight the senses. While it is easy to access, with fine and generous aromas, it is nonetheless complex and racy. Round, smooth, silky palate. The attack is a caress from Bacchus. The mid palate, supported by fine and well-balanced tannins, reveals aromas of sour cherry, pepper and peony. The finish is long with mineral aromas and a pleasant freshness.Wine style:

Château de Figuières es una finca vinícola situada en el corazón del Macizo de la Clape, cerca de Narbona, en la región del Languedoc. Situada a 150 metros de altitud, se beneficia de un clima mediterráneo ideal para la viticultura, con días cálidos y soleados y noches frescas gracias a su proximidad al mar.
Historia y Terroir:
En este lugar se cultivan vides desde la época romana. Tras la epidemia de filoxera de finales del siglo XIX, los viñedos fueron sustituidos por pastos. No fue hasta 1980 que viticultores apasionados replantaron la finca, revitalizando el Château de Figuières.
El terroir está compuesto por suelos margosos y margocalcáreos que datan del Cretácico, enriquecidos por la erosión de la meseta caliza circundante.
Vinos y Elaboración:
La finca produce vinos tintos con la denominación de origen protegida (DOP) La Clape y vinos blancos con la denominación de origen protegida (IGP) Pays d'Oc. Las variedades de uva utilizadas incluyen Syrah, Garnacha, Cariñena y Monastrell para los tintos, y Roussanne y Viognier para los blancos.
La vinificación se realiza parcela por parcela, con rendimientos controlados de aproximadamente 30 hectolitros por hectárea. Cada parcela se vinifica por separado para realzar la expresión única de su terroir.
También se ha practicado una vendimia escalonada durante varios años para que la finca pueda vender vinos listos para beber.
