A perfect match for an original tartiflette with goat cheese, rosemary, honey and wild thyme. Made in Corbières.
The other vintages of:
It all really began in August 2015, when Alexandre Gressent, Céline Peyre and her parents, Bernard and Ginette, then cooperative winegrowers in the village of Villeneuve-les-Corbières, decided to join forces on a common project: to create their own private winery and produce their own wines. In the family, the vines have been handed down for several generations so that the winegrowing tradition, which has long been anchored in their DNA, can continue.
"With my partner, we dreamed of returning to our roots and to the land. It was in 2012, when we were helping my parents with the harvest, that we got the idea! Together we wanted to take up the challenge of managing everything ourselves, from cultivation to vinification, including the maturing and sale of the wines. Since then, we have harvested our first grapes, vinified a little more than 3 hectares while we slowly got the hang of it and bottled our first vintage. We are very satisfied with the result, which looks very promising," smiles Céline Peyre.
The family project is part of a sustainable development approach and respect for the environment:
Organic vineyard management and vinification (certification in 2019): use of green manure in the vines, vinification with indigenous yeasts, no oenological inputs, addition of sulphites in homeopathic doses.
Building an environment conducive to sustainable wine tourism. The estate includes a tasting room and a wine-making cellar that were renovated and fitted out just a few months ago. In a few years, wine lovers will be able to stay in a gîte on the estate and enjoy an exceptional view of the Corbières.
