Porto Don Tedo
Special Reserve
Vincent Bouchard in Folgosa, Douro Valley Porto
La Quinta is located at the confluence of the Douro River and the Tedo River. Imposing carved granite stones, the feitoria mark the landscape like sentinels. They were installed by the Marquis de Pombal during the first route of the Douro appellation in 1756. Historically, only wines from the area delimited by the feitoria were considered to be of the best quality and were allowed to be exported. .
Today, Quinta do Tedo's "A" ranking and its location at the heart of the feitorias' limits prove its great potential as a Single Quinta label.
