The Rioja project is made with rented vines. La Bastid is made from Labastia vines planted on clay-limestone soils, with the Maccabeu grape variety (called Viura, in Rioja) as the main protagonist (85%), accompanied by Malvasía and white Grenache. The wine is fermented in 500-litre French oak barrels and aged for ten months.
Grape varieties:
85% maccabeu, 8% white grenache and 7% malvasía.
Tasting notes:
La Bastid is a creamy, serious and full-bodied white wine. It shows a perfect balance between fruity expression and freshness. The nose is dominated by white fruit aromas which blend perfectly with the toasted notes of the ageing process. On the palate, it is ample, silky and very long.

Lamb sweetbreads with liquorice, stuffed tomatoes with crepinette. Saddle of hare revisited in a blanquette style.
