The Rioja project is carried out with leased vineyards. In the case of Gabaxo, the Grenache and Graciano vineyards are rented from two different areas of Aldeanueva Ebro in Rioja Baja and Rioja Alta Cardenas, grown organically.
The grapes for this Gabaxo vintage are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for nine months in 500 litre French oak barrels.

Grape varieties:

80% grenache noir and 20% graciano.

Tasting notes:

The colour is intense cherry red. The nose shows aromas of ripe red fruit and is very floral, with a predominance of violets. The palate is fresh and tasty, with notes of strawberries, blackberries and spicy nuances. Very nice elegant finish.

Wine style :

Complex and elegant red wine.

Food and wine pairing:

Iberian pork pressa ravioli, dried tomato and Mediterranean spices. Caramelised leg of lamb with cumin, fine semolina with apples and almonds.
