Mas Saint Louis

Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC

France - Vallée du Rhône

At the end of the 1900s, Jean-Louis Geniest brought together the family vines to form the Domaine Mas Saint Louis. The acquisition and renovation of the Maison Vigneronne in 1909, in the Clos district in Châteauneuf du Pape, accelerated the development of the estate, which began vinifying its harvests.
Louis Geniest, grandson of Jean-Louis, is responsible for subsequently acquiring new plots of vines and exchanging others, with the aim of harmonizing the vineyard. Domaine Mas Saint Louis now covers more than 30 hectares in one piece.
This work was then taken over by his son Jean and now by his wife Monique who manages the Domaine Mas Saint Louis, with a concern for respect for the soils and cultures.
