Set in the heart of the Coteaux du Giennois, the Domaine de Villargeau is, above all, a story of family, passion and terroir. Founded in 1991 by brothers Jean-Fernand and François Thibault, the vineyard was born out of the revival of hillsides that had been abandoned since the phylloxera crisis. Since 2000, Marc Thibault has carried on this family venture with the same high standards and the determination to reveal the full richness of this exceptional terroir.
Today, the estate covers some twenty hectares, cultivated with care using environmentally friendly methods. Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Gamay fully express their character through a range of white, red and rosé wines that combine freshness, finesse and authenticity.
At Villargeau, each vintage tells the story of a terroir, of expertise passed down through the generations and of a shared passion. We welcome you to the estate all year round to discover our wines, visit the vineyard and enjoy a warm and friendly experience in the heart of the Centre-Loire region.
