In 2008, Laurent Costa took over A Peraccia, an estate of just over 7 hectares located on the Peri plain, the sunniest region in Corsica. The plain of Peri is continuously subjected to sea breezes and the influence of the mountain which creates an optimal microclimate for the maturation of the grapes.
Passion and will are, without a doubt, the key words for this young man who had sworn to make the land his profession one day.

In 2008, Laurent Costa took over A Peraccia, an estate of just over 7 hectares located on the Peri plain, the sunniest region in Corsica. The plain of Peri is continuously subjected to sea breezes and the influence of the mountain which creates an optimal microclimate for the maturation of the grapes.
A young retiree from the air force, Laurent Costa decided to devote himself entirely to his passion, working the land. When he had the opportunity to take over a family estate, he did not hesitate for a second to get closer to nature. Although he had no training in oenology, Laurent learned on the ground, guided by the former owner of the estate.
Laurent's primary objective in taking over the estate was to continue to satisfy the clientele of the micro-region by offering a generous, young and fruity AOC Ajaccio and organic wine.
After equipping himself with all the necessary equipment for the vinification, while respecting the old-fashioned methods of vinification, Laurent Costa plans to develop his winery. He also plans to plant 100 to 150 organic fig trees to diversify his production and offer fresh and dried figs for sale.
Passion and determination are, without a doubt, the key words for this young man who had sworn to make the land his profession one day.
