Pajoré 2018
Barbaresco DOCG
Italie - Piémont
The vineyard of Pajoré, a very famous Barbaresco cru located in the municipality of Treiso, is the highest of the estate (420 m).
This vineyard, with its light and compact soil, gives the wine a linearity and elegance of structure that has always been its main characteristic. This cru benefits from a higher altitude and exposure to the winds, which helps create an elegant and mineral Barbaresco with a typical spicy note that makes it recognizable over time.
Grape varieties:
100% Nebbiolo
Tasting Notes:
A lovely, very open nose with notes of beautiful red fruits, cherries, pits, spices, and some balsamic notes. A touch of pepper in the mill completes the whole. The whole is complex and requires aeration (the pinot noir glass is recommended). The mouth is ample with a fleshy heart without being rustic. A tannic framework stretches the wine from the middle of the mouth and the flavors of macerated fruits accompany the finish. This is a long, fine-textured wine.

Powerful and complex red wine.
