Domaine Rolet is located in Arbois, in the Jura. Family property since the 1940s with its creation by Désiré Rolet. His children and grandchildren shared the task at the estate while continuing the family tradition.
In the spring of 2018, the estate and its vineyard were acquired by the Devillard family, well known for their Burgundy production.
The property's vineyard covers 63 hectares of vines under the Arbois and Côtes du Jura appellations. The grape varieties present at Domaine Rolet are Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. The cultivation is reasoned in order to produce wines as close as possible to their terroir, in particular thanks to manual harvests and a careful selection of grapes. The vines are 45 years old on average.
The Domaine Rolet has not ceased to amaze you, lovers of Jura wines will find their haven of peace here ... The estate ranks second among Jura wine estates and today represents one of the wine jewels of its region .
The Arbois appellation owes a lot to the Rolet estate.
Over the years, he has managed to keep his own style, an alliance of a classic style rooted in Jura taste and good technical mastery. The wines typified by maturing under veil (in particular the yellow wines of Arbois) are the most regularly successful.
The nose is captivating on red fruits of the woods, typical of elegant Pinot. On the palate, the attack is on the fruit, fresh. The palate is elegant and the finish ...
Particularly charming nose with notes of nuts and sweet spices. Fresh and mineral attack in the mouth, with a long finish.
Precise, tense, efficient, this Chardonnay has all the virtues. We appreciate its spring, its fleshy fruit, its toasted touch.
