This wine comes from vines planted in Montigny-les-Arsures, on the localities 'Chagnon' and 'En Levrin' as well as on Arbois at the locality 'Montesserin'. Mainly west and south facing, these slopes are rich in iridescent marl and clay clay, the Trousseau's favorite terroirs. It perfectly expresses its character and its generous aromas such as blackberry or kirsch.

Tasting Notes:

The color is garnet red, showing some signs of evolution. Small black fruits like blackberry develop on the nose as well as a nice palette of spices. The palate is voluminous and structured. The finish is fruity and warm, ending on a hint of kirsch.

Typical and round red wine.

Food and wine :

Bite of smoked ham with fresh goat cheese and nuts. Saint-Nectaire farmer, toast and red berry chutney with thyme.
