Hakushu 12 Year Old has won several awards in international competitions and is a single malt with rich and complex aromas and a slight smoky note. Enthusiasts and novices alike will be seduced by its surprising freshness.
Tasting notes:
Nose: lively, subtle. Exotic fruits (mango, passion fruit), sultanas. Citrus fruits (yellow grapefruit, lemon). Ashy.
Palate: balanced, harmonious. Mocha, coffee, chocolate. Finely woody. Ripe fruit. Slightly spicy (pink pepper).
Finish: long, fine. Fresh grapes. Vegetal (fresh grass). Evolves on ashy and slightly smoky notes.
