The Chita is Suntory's first single grain whisky, launched in France two years after its official release in Japan.
Produced at The Chita distillery near Kyoto, this expression is a blend of three distillates and five different whisky profiles. These whiskies have been aged in a variety of casks including European wine casks, ex-bourbon casks and sherry casks.
Tasting notes:
Colour: golden
Nose: crème brulée, cardamom, blooming roses and acacia honey.
Palate: hint of mint, and intense honey, smooth and silky.
Finish: Spicy oak with some sweet and bitter notes. Clean finish.
