Abelha Silver is a flavourful artisanal cachaça with an intense, fruity and aromatic nose; notes of fresh sugar cane and stone fruit on the palate; and a smooth, dry finish.
To create Abelha Silver’s distinctive character, the cachaça is left to rest for six months in open steel vats, allowing by-products to evaporate and oxidise, which gives the cachaça its signature bouquet.
No sugar is added and there are no impurities or toxins in the cachaça, resulting in fresh aromas when you open a bottle and pure flavours when you take a sip.
The aromatic bouquet revealed by this organic cachaça is highly complex and introduces connoisseurs to the taste of the terroir and Brazilian tradition.
Perfect for sipping, it is also highly prized for making caipirinhas.

Presentation
Abelha cachaça was born out of a collaboration between a community of small-scale farmers in Bahia, in north-eastern Brazil, and young British entrepreneurs. Together, they have created this certified organic artisanal spirit, made from sugarcane grown on sandy hillsides. Artisanal cachaças differ from industrial productions in their broader aromatic profile (aromas of flowers, banana and freshly cut grass), resulting from a production method that respects the raw material and the terroir. Furthermore, to preserve the full flavour of the cane, the fields are not burnt before harvest and the cane is pressed within 24 hours of being cut. Once distilled, the heart of the distillation can be left to rest in stainless steel vats for several months before bottling. Some producers age this heart of the distillation in casks. There are twenty-six different types of wood used to age cachaça in Brazil. Garapeira is one of the most commonly used varieties due to its honeyed influence on the cachaça.
Abelha Silver Organic cachaça is made from a distillate that received special attention during distillation before being left to mature in stainless steel vats for several months.
