Le Clos des Truffiers is situated on the heights of the commune of Saint Pargoire in the Hérault.
These Syrah vines, planted in 1961 by Max Paux, Jean’s father, are the oldest in the Languedoc.
The vineyard overlooks the sea; a distinctive feature of the original planting was a truffle oak planted every 10 vines.
This unique feature imparts truffle aromas.
This is why certain Michelin-starred chefs compete to come up with creative dishes featuring this wine.
