Château de Valflaunès, managed by Fabien Reboul, a winemaker in the Pic Saint Loup appellation, is situated on an ancient scree slope at the foot of Montferrand Castle. The entire estate is currently in production.
Fabien Reboul uses six grape varieties—Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Roussanne, and Marsanne—to create these wines, which have become essential to the Pic Saint Loup appellation. A little bit of you, by chance, Hope, Tem Tem... An ode to fine wines.
The estate's unique approach lies in its winemaking process, where the grapes are blended during fermentation.
For ten years, Fabien pursued advanced studies in viticulture and explored the world. His initial experiences in the Côtes du Rhône led him to the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, where he crafted the subtle Corton-Charlemagne wines.
His quest for knowledge then led him to Oregon, before he found himself "upside down" in New Zealand, discovering a new light. This openness to diverse cultures allows Fabien Reboul to create exceptional wines, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and people he encounters.
His unique terroir in Pic Saint Loup, his commitment as a winemaker, and his passion make Fabien's creations a reflection of himself: original, blended, balanced, and above all, sincere.
The cultivation of the vine begins with the cultivation of the man.
