Tasting Notes :
The nose evokes aromas of sweet almond, pear, melon, and honeysuckle.
On the palate, it is full and smooth with a lovely freshness. The minerality is appreciated, giving it tremendous length,
finishing with the very classic bitterness of Clairette.
Splendid!
Food and Wine Pairing :
Fricassée of shellfish from the Thau Basin with thyme.
Langoustine Colombo.
Presentation :
The name "Raisin de Loup" comes from the common name of a weed, black nightshade, which grows on this clay-loam soil.
This white Vin de France is made from a plot of pink Clairette grapes located in the commune of Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres.
This grape variety is the pink form of Clairette Blanche; their characteristics and qualities are similar,
except for the color of the berry skin, which is pink for one and white for the other when ripe.
This is a limited-production cuvée, with only 800 bottles made per year.
