Tasting Notes:
With a sparkling coral colour, this delicious wine—made predominantly from Gamay—features a generous mousse and a persistent stream of bubbles, offering delicate aromas of red berries, redcurrants and raspberries.
A very flavourful profile is echoed by an elegant palate, offering great freshness and perfect balance.
The bubbles are particularly well integrated into a slender, invigorating structure.
A truly indulgent wine with a remarkable balance of sweetness and acidity.
Food and wine pairings:
Red fruit tart with black pepper mascarpone cream.
Foie gras dim sum with cherry chutney.
Presentation:
The Renardat-Fache family has been growing vines for over eight generations.
Living in the small village of Mérignat, where vines have been cultivated since the Middle Ages, the Renardat-Fache family also grew fruit such as apples, walnuts, cherries and strawberries.
From generation to generation, the vineyard has grown and now covers 12.5 hectares in the Bugey Cerdon AOP.
Since 2008, the estate has been certified organic and biodynamic.
This cuvée of sparkling rosé wine is produced using the traditional method.
This method produces naturally sparkling wines without the need to add yeast or sugar.
The wine, whilst still fermenting, is bottled, where fermentation continues, creating the bubbles.
Residual sugar: 47 g/l.
