Grenache shows its freshest side here.
Ester Nin and Carles Ortiz have managed to make this wine light and easy to drink.
Violet and broom combine here with cherry and redcurrant, as well as blackberry and some blackcurrant.
This is complemented by allspice and juniper, and a little undergrowth extends the complex nose.
On the palate, red and black fruits form the core of this wine, which is infused with fresh acidity.

Introduction :
 
Ester Nin and Carles Ortiz are behind this very interesting project.
She, an oenologist from a family of winemakers who left her native Penedès to settle in the Priorat and work with Daphne Glorian, with whom she was able to create the famous and prestigious Clos Erasmus wine, whose 2004 and 2005 vintages received 100 Parker points; and he, a retired builder and climber who decided to settle in Porrera when he took over the Les Planetes winery, and who, from the outset, has been working his vineyards according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture.

This duo produces wines of the highest quality with the philosophy of respect for the environment and nature. Wines that reflect the territory, the climate and the vintage, made with minimal intervention and fermenting with indigenous yeasts.

Planetes de Nin Garnatxa en Àmfora comes from a vineyard that is over 70 years old.
Fermentation begins spontaneously with its own yeasts and the wine is aged in amphorae.

Finally, the wine is kept for 18 months, without the addition of sulphur.
