This exceptional cuvée comes from a small schist vineyard enclosed by dry stone walls. Nestled in a valley 400m above sea level, it overlooks the pine forests and overlooks the Minervois.
The harvest is done manually by the great family of Château de Gourgazaud. After careful de-stemming and gentle pressing, the extraction results in the quintessential juice. Slow fermentation in barrels respects the exceptional character of these schist grapes.

Perched in its pine forest and backed by the first foothills of the Black Mountain, the Château de Gourgazaud is one of the precursors to the development of quality wines from the Minervois.
Mentioned on the maps from the 17th century, the Castle was restored in its present form in 1833.
Its different terroirs offer a variety of varieties, including reds such as Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as whites such as Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Viognier.

A wine bursting with flavor. Beautiful pale green color. The nose is dominated by apricot and white peach. The palate is both ample, long, and lively.
