Domaine Terres Falmet is a wine estate situated in the Saint-Chinian region, in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon, in the south of France.
Founded in 1996 by Yves Falmet, a winegrower originally from the Côte des Bar in Champagne, the estate covers 25 hectares of terraced vineyards, offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
Philosophy and cultivation methods
Yves Falmet undertook the restoration of the estate’s abandoned vineyards and old farmhouses, adopting environmentally friendly farming methods.
The estate favours an organic and sustainable approach, avoiding the use of pesticides and placing emphasis on respecting local biodiversity.
The Wines
The estate produces a wide range of wines, mainly made from local grape varieties typical of the Languedoc. Among the varieties grown are Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache and Carignan.
The estate’s wines are renowned for their freshness and aromatic character, with each wine seeking to reflect the region’s unique terroir.
Commitment to Sustainability
In addition to its organic farming methods, the estate has also implemented practices such as terraced vine cultivation, which helps to conserve water and protect the soil from erosion.
These choices demonstrate the estate’s commitment to preserving its environment whilst producing exceptional wines.

This wine is very full-bodied, tannic, but with a lot of roundness, a nice fleshiness, minerality and the expression of black fruits, heady, with a spicy finish.
