Tasting Notes :

An aromatic and captivating nose with multiple and complex aromas. Notes of white fruits and mineral touches harmonize perfectly. The palate is just as explosive, a dense body sliced with a mineral layer for a long and spicy finish.
A wine that is both ample and mineral.

Food and wine :

Red mullet in foil, fallen wild fennel.
Sea bream ceviche with mango and jalapeño pepper.

Presentation :

The Domaine de la Réaltière is located in Rians en Provence, in the Coteaux d'Aix en Provence appellation.
The Domaine was created by Jean-Louis Michelland in 1994, and has been managed by his son Pierre Michelland since 2001.
The vineyard covers 12.5 hectares and is surrounded by an olive grove and a forest of holm oaks and pines.
The vines have been cultivated in organic farming since 1994 and in certified biodynamics since 2011.

Winemaking :

White Carignan (strong majority), plain white and Semillon.
Carignan blanc was discovered by Pierre Michelland in one of his plots of Carignan noir.
The grapes are vinified in demi-muids, stoneware jar and terracotta egg.
Aging lasts 8 to 9 months on fine lees.
